The 25th Annual NC Teacher Education Forum theme was The Educational Landscape: Developing Learning Communities. The presentations followed these strands:
- Preparation of High Quality Teachers, School Leaders, and/or School Support Personnel;
- Action Research, Teacher Inquiry, Self-study Practices, or Transformative Education;
- Curriculum Development, Instruction, or Assessment;
- Cultural, Social, or Gender Issues;
- Collaborative Partnerships;
- Recruiting, Retaining, and/or Mentoring Educators;
- Utilizing Best Practices;
- Building Diverse/Equitable Communities;
- Developing Research Bases; or
- Supporting Learning through Technology.

Concurrent Sessions of Research Presentations were held Thursday, 1:00-4:15 p.m., including Student Poster Presentations 4:15-5:00 p.m., and Friday 8:20-11:40 a.m.
A GALA RECEPTION celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Fall Teacher Education Forum provided an opportunity to visit and network, while enjoying the music of the Market Street Brass.
The Friday Luncheon beginning at 11:45 a.m. featured the 2007-2008 NC Teacher of the Year, James Bell, and Dr. Kathy Sullivan, Senior Policy Analyst, NC State Board of Education, with the NCDPI UPDATE.
